Six focus areas. One goal: young Australians who flourish.

Our Work
From a student's first scholarship to a young leader's first community initiative, the Foundation funds programs and opportunities across six connected areas of work.
  • 01
    Scholarships

    Scholarships & Educational Support

Scholarships, bursaries and prizes that help young Australians pursue secondary and tertiary education — easing financial pressure so ability decides the outcome, not circumstance.
  • 02
    Leadership

    Leadership Development

Programs that build the knowledge, skills, character and confidence young people need to lead — in their schools, workplaces, parishes and communities.
  • 03
    Mentorship

    Formation & Mentorship

Educational and formation opportunities that encourage young people to grow in faith, leadership and service — with mentors who walk alongside them.
  • 04
    Education

    Catholic Education & Formation

Encouraging education and initiatives that strengthen the contribution of Catholic faith, education and values to Australian society.
  • 05
    Events

    Public Events & Community Initiatives

Events, discussions and initiatives that promote understanding of the positive contribution of religious faith to individuals and communities.
  • 06
    Service

Faith, Service & the Common Good

Encouraging a culture of service and leadership that benefits the Catholic Church, the wider Australian community and the common good.

A careful path from gift to graduate

How support reaches young people
  1. Identify

Schools, parishes and partners nominate young people and programs where support will make a real difference.
  2. Assess

The board reviews each opportunity against the Foundation's purpose, need and expected benefit to young people.
  3. Award

Scholarships, bursaries, prizes and grants are awarded — with clear terms and a named contact at the Foundation.
  4. Accompany

Recipients are mentored through their studies and programs, and outcomes are reported back to supporters.

What a scholarship covers

Support is shaped around the real costs of study — so a young person can say yes to an opportunity without their family carrying an impossible load.
